In 1999, he and his wife took a team of 11 people to pioneer a Foursquare church in Boise: My Father’s House. However, even while pastoring, Steve was always engaged in bi-vocational work as a bookkeeper, for two non-profit and two for-profit organizations. His longest tenure was at Family Advocate Program, Inc from 2000 to 2006, where he served as the bookkeeper. In 2004, My Father’s House was merged with another small congregation, releasing him into a full time role as Operations Manager. In April 2006, the Lord took his two skill sets of non-profit management and ministry leadership and merged them into one when he became Executive Director at Genesis World Mission.
