Karl Watts, MD, President As founder, Dr. Karl Watts has been on the board since 1997. Karl attended the University of Virginia, receiving his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He currently runs his own private family and sports medicine practice here in Boise. Dr. Watts is actively involved elsewhere around the community being part of the Sunrise Rotary Club, Boise Area Radio Control Society (BARKS), and is a member of Capital Christian Center. Karl has been married to Teina for 13 years and has two beautiful children, Ellie and Kenny. |

Scott Nelson, Vice President Scott has been on the board since 2003, currently serving as Vice President. After serving as a pastor at Boise Valley Christian Communion for 19 years, Scott has started his second ministry by pursuing his Idaho School Counseling Certification and State Professional Licensure. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Literature from Northwest College in Kirkland, WA and his Master’s in counseling from College of Idaho. Scott is also part of Boise City C.A.T.C.H. Program as well as a member of Idaho Adventure Motorcycle Club. Scott and his wife, Diana, are currently enjoying an empty nest as Lindsey and Travis are away at college. |

Vicki Wooll, MD MPH Secretary
Dr. Vicki Wooll joined the board in 2008 and currently serves as Secretary. Vicki is a family physician practicing out of Eagle Creek Family Medicine. She received her Bachelor’s in biochemistry and Master’s of public Health from the University of California in Los Angeles. She earned her doctorate from the Central University of Venezuela. Dr. Wooll has made multiple mission trips in her life to places such as Africa, India, Central and South America. Vicki is very active in the medical society as part of the board for the Ada County Medical Society. During her downtime, she enjoys camping and cooking for her husband and two lovely daughters. |

Joan Stephens, Treasurer
Joan has found time from her busy job as co-owner of Stronghold Remodeling/Crossroads Business Development since 2007 to be part of the Genesis board and serves as the Board Chair. Joan is part of numerous associations and groups both locally and nationally, such as National Association of the Remodeling Industry, in which she is a past president, Current Director of the Better Business Bureau Board of Directors, and National Association of Women Business Owners. Joan is also the piano alto of the worship team at Eastwind Community Church. Joan and Jim find great joy in their four children and their two grandchildren. |

Steve Reames, Executive Director/Board Chairman Executive Director at Genesis World Mission, Steve has been sitting on the board since early 2009. Steve received his degree in communications from Washington State University. As an active member in the non-profit community, he is also an elder at Boise Valley Christian Communion. Steve enjoys playing Scrabble, geo-caching, and cooking Thai food. Steve and Tami have their hands full with four non-stop kids. |

Dave Hall Dave joined the board in 2008. Dave works at the Bureau of Homeland Security after receiving his Bachelor’s degree in engineering and Master’s in administration from Central Michigan University as well as a Master’s in strategic studies from United States Army War College. Dave is actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America as well as being a certified scuba instructor. Dave and his wife, Liz, have two wonderful children, Jack and Lizzy. |

John Hisel, DDS
Dr. John Hisel joined the board in 2003 and currently serves as the Dental Director. John attended the College of Idaho and received his DDS from Creighton University Boyne School of Dental Science. While not at his practice, Paramount Dentistry, John is actively involved around the community being part of groups such as State of Idaho Dental Forensics Team, Give Kids a Smile, Boise Schools Children’s Free Dental Clinic, Idaho State and American Dental Associations and may others. John loves golfing, running, and spending time with his wife, Terri, and his children John and Melissa and their spouses. |

Dennis Warren Dennis is the newest board member just joining in July. Dennis works for Blue Cross of Idaho as Vice President of Account Management. Dennis received his degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Boise State University. He extends his time beyond work and Genesis to Ustick Baptist Church, United Way, Mountain States Tumor Institute Hospice, Rake Up Boise/Meridian, and Blue Cruise. To relax Dennis enjoys fishing, golf, and spending time with his wife, five children, and six grandchildren. |
