In-Kind Donations

Get Involved. Take Responsibility. Take Action.

It takes many supplies to operate Genesis World Mission. Please consider an in-kind gift today.

Office Supplies:

Most people know what it takes to run an office: paper, printer tonor, labels and the like. These may not seem like glamorous donations but every little bit helps us offset costs and push more support towards program expenses.

Dishwashing detergent, Kitchen sponges, Dry creamer for coffee, Coffee (not instant) or Tea, Coffee filters, Artificial sweetener, Sugar, Zip lock bags (sandwich, quart, gallon), Hot beverage cups, Bottled water, Sticky notes, Sticky Buns, No Sticky Fingers, Pens/pencils, Paper clips, Legal pads, Sharpies, Highlighters, Binder Clips, etc.

Prescription Medications:

Regrettably, Genesis World Mission is NOT able to accept donated prescription medications from individuals - this is a Federal Law. However, there are certain circumstances where we can receive donated medications if they come directly from a healthcare facility, nursing home or drug representative and the drug is on our approved formulary of drugs we prescribe in the clinic. Please contact our clinic manager for more information.

Expired and/or unusable medication can be properly disposed of through the Cities and Police Departments. Please do not flush your medications down the toilet - it can contaminate our water supply system.

Over-the-Counter Medications:

Over the counter medicines that don't require a prescription can be taken by the clinic under the following circumstances:

          • The are in the original sealed, unopened container
          • They have been kept at a temperature according to manufacturer requirement
          • They are accompanied by an in-kind donation form, which our personnel will have you sign.

Useful medications include: cough drops and syrup, contact lens solution, anti-diarrheals, antacids, gas prevention, anti-itch cream, Ibuprofen (i.e. Motrin), aspirin (81mg), acetaminophen (i.e. Tylenol), cold sore treatments, allergy meds (i.e. Claratin, Benadryl), sinus meds)

Medical Supplies:

We are able to accept some medical supplies such as anticeptic wipes, exam table sheets, exam gloves, tongue depressors, etc. We are also sometimes able to use diabetic monitors and injection syringes and can always use diabetic monitoring test strips. These must first be approved through the Clinic RN who can be reached at 384-5200 x212.

Medical and Dental Equipment:

We are currently in need of some dental supplies and equipment. Please contact our Dental Coordinator at 384-5200 x215 to find out what is currently needed.

Atlas Frontiers

We have a partnership with Atlas Frontiers to resell medical and dental equipment that is not usable for us. This still allows for a donor to receive a charitable contribution receipt for deduction purposes but without a lot of time on our end managing equipment. Donations can be made from throughout the Western states. Call Jason Driever at 208-286-1775 for more information about this opportunity.

If you do not wish to donate medical or dental equipment in this manner, please consider contacting Hands of Hope Northwest located in Nampa at www.hofhnw.org or 208.461.1473.

If you do end up donating goods, it is very helpful for us to have the following form filled out in advance for our own accounting purposes as well as for generating a contribution receipt for you. In-Kind Donation Form
