Steven Reames, Executive Director After finishing a degree in Communications at Washington State University, Steven joined the staff of Pullman Foursquare Church as an associate pastor. In 1999, he brought a team of five families to pioneer My Father's House Foursquare church in Boise. Concurrently, he served as Operations Director and Finance Manager at Family Advocate Program, Inc for six years. In 2006, he came to Genesis World Mission merging two skill sets of non-profit management and ministry leadership as  Executive Director at Genesis World Mission in 2006. He is active in Toastmasters international and serves as an elder at Boise Valley Christian Communion. Steve is married to Tami and has four children.

Tracy Haworth, RN, MHS, International Director
A graduate of the University of Virginia, Tracy has worked in pediatrics, hematology/oncology and home health care. Tracy later moved into working with humanitarian aid organizations that provide health care for the disadvantaged locally and internationally. She has maintained clinical skills throughout the years by working in various health care settings part time, along side other jobs. Since 1998 Tracy has worked for several agencies that provide health care in third world countries. Tracy started at Genesis World Mission in 2003 as the clinic manager and has held virtually every role since then, including Interim Executive Director. She assumed the role of International Director in 2006 and finished a Masters in Health Sciences at BSU in 2009.

Hillary Roethlisberger, LCSW, Director of Development
Hillary received her Master’s in Social Work from Michigan State University after completing a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Albertson College of Idaho. With strong pastoral gifts, Hillary has worked as an associate minister at Second Presbyterian Church in Saginaw before moving to Boise. Hillary’s experience as a social worker runs the gamut of hospice care, counseling, mental health assessments for children, and Medicaid credentialing. She worked most recently for the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare in Children’s Mental Health. Hillary is married and has two young children whom she adores.

Tamara Fredrickson, NP, Medical Clinic DirectorTamara joined us in Fall 2011 as our first paid medical practitioner. After completing her graduate studies as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Mary in Bismarck North Dakota, Tamara went onto work in women’s health, family health and school health, in a variety of settings, caring for low-income and at risk families. In addition to serving as a nurse practitioner for the Boise School District, Tamara has also been the Health Services Supervisor for the past 11 years where she has coordinated and developed various programs for the Boise School District.

Denise Ewing, RN, Medical Clinic Manager
Denise joined the Clinic in 2010 as a bachelor-degreed RN with a Master of Arts in Religion/Spiritual Formation from Northwest Nazarene University. She recently returned with her family to the States from the Kingdom of Tonga, where she was the clinic manager for a non-profit medical clinic. She has also served in school systems, churches, hospitals, and hospices while working with low-income and at risk families as well as homeless youth. In Portland, Denise helped organize free medical screenings for the uninsured and homeless in the downtown area. She also led a tattoo removal program for gang members and prostitutes who desired freedom from being marked and marketed.

Joe Ramaker, L.P.C., Social Services Coordinator
After completing his Bachelor’s in Pastoral Studies from Portland Bible College, Joe moved to Boise, Idaho to be a campus pastor at Boise State. After experiencing the powerful impact of a one on one counseling relationship, Joe pursued his Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.  Through a partnership with Methodist Counseling Center and Garden City Community Clinic Joe was able to complete a large portion of his internship at GCCC. Fitting in well with the wholistic approach to healing which comes from the partnership of medical, mental, social and spiritual health found at GCCC, Joe continued to work as a volunteer after becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor . In October of 2011 Joe joined the staff of GCCC as the Social Services Coordinator.

Tracy Cranor, M.A., Medical Clinic Assistant
Tracy is a recent graduate of Stevens-Heneager College, receiving her associates degree in Medical Specialties in 2011. She graduated at the top of her class with honors. Tracy joined Genesis after her externship at Garden City Community Clinic commenced because she loved our patients and the difference she knew she could make in our community. She became our full time clinic assistant after graduating and volunteering and now helps other students obtain their medical externship hours needed for graduation from various colleges.

Nicole Egbert, RDH Dental Clinic Director Nicole came to Genesis in 2008 as a dental assistant to coordinate the dental clinic. Since then, she has completed her dental hygienist studies and helped grow the dental clinic to a successfully run operation. In 2010, she was married to a wonderful husband and together they had their first child together in 2011. Nicole is active in the Idaho Oral Health Care Alliance, the Idaho Dental Hygienists Association,and other local  dental organizations.

Heather Pitman, Dental AssistantAfter volunteering at the Garden City Community Clinic for three years, Heather joined the staff as the dental clinic coordinator.  She graduated from The American Institute of Technology in 2004 and went on to spend a couple of years as an orthodontic assistant. Heather enjoys spending time with her loving husband and two kids.

Barbara Mahr, Volunteer Physicians Network Director
As a graduate of San Jose State University in Marketing Communications, Barbara has worked as project manager, training manager and event planner. She has volunteered with a number of health care and humanitarian organizations, along with participating in mission trips for Habitat for Humanity, Doctors without Borders, and ministry programs through the Methodist Church at orphanages in Mexico.

Lynee Uyeda, Volunteer Physicians Network Patient Referral Coordinator
Lynee received her associate’s degree in Medical Specialties from Stevens-Henagar College in 2011.She was introduced to the Volunteer Physicians Network while completing her externship at the Garden City Community Clinic. Seeing the opportunities that the VPN program brings to the local community is something that she knew she wanted to be a part of as she plans to  continue her education towards becoming a Registered Nurse.

Janet Davis, Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant
Janet first became involved in Genesis World Mission as a volunteer in 2005 and performed a variety of administrative tasks for six years before joining our staff. Her education includes a Master of Librarianship degree from University of Washington and a Masters in Communication degree from Boise State University.  She retired from Albertsons Library at BSU in 2006 after nearly 40 years as a librarian. She is active in her church and has been on several mission trips to China, Nicaragua and in the United States.  She is married to Brent and between them they have 18 grandchildren.
